First stop in my new career was to Shanghai, China! I’ve been there many years ago but this time it’s different. To celebrate my first operational layover, my colleagues bought me round and round of drinks at 新世界 (xing shi jie), the pubs and clubbing area of downtown Shanghai. Boy, I got so drunk! So obviously, the next morning I had a hangover and couldn’t travel to the city area. I just walked around the hotel, did some groceries and ate 小笼包 (xiao long bao). I have been craving for dumplings for the longest time, and still am NOW! It was a good trip. :) I’m off to Melbourne and Auckland next to continue my travel experience! Till then….
