Having been living in Dubai for almost 3 months, sandstorms are pretty common especially because I live right in the middle of the desert. But yesterday was the worst sandstorm I have ever seen. Coming from a small island, Singapore, our weather is pretty boring so even though sandstorm is annoying, it gets pretty interesting to experience it once a while! Flights get cancelled, drivers forced to park their cars halfway… Sweepers were trying to sweep the sand off my building lobby but to no avail. And I battled with sand on my way to the bus. It was actually quite funny… :D
